Tweetmare was a collaborative effort, put together in three weeks, by five women who have never met and who live in entirely different locations across the globe. This is the first time we have done a project like this. We all contributed to the plot and our scenes were improvised. @EvaPalazzetti and @FrozenGlitter designed the playlist, @nantoyara designed our website, map, and party games and favors, @EvaPalazzetti made the menu and drink list, @KatWomanNYC created extra characters such at “RobinMoonTailor,” and @Lumilyon created the invitation graphics and Tweetmare2010 avatar.
We are, of course, incredibly thankful to the cast and crew of Such Tweet Sorrow, without whose production we would never have met and become friends, or attempted a production like this ourselves. They have very much inspired us and paved the way for hopefully many, many more twitter plays, be they Shakespeare, zombie, or otherwise.
(BTW, if you missed out on Such Tweet Sorrow - it’s not too late. Experience the Official Timeline & Story, or this version, painstakingly created by @citizenbleys)
We also wish to thank @ZombieLilith, whoever you are, who helped us in innumerable ways by spreading the word about us, indirectly helping us develop our characters, our dialogue styles, giving us someone outside the group to play off of, entertaining us, and being incredibly patient with us. We hope that you will continue to stick around, either as Lilith or as yourself, because we all have much enjoyed your presence. You really, truly rock.
Finally we’d like to thank all of our followers, fans, and friends. What started out as a joke about zombie parties was actually realized as an actual production, thanks to all of your support, participation, and attention. Thank you all so much!
